Store Hours
Set operating hours for dine-in, takeaway, and delivery. Dine-in hours are your main schedule — takeaway and delivery use these when not set separately.
Where to find it: Store → Hours
Dine-in, Takeaway, and Delivery
Section titled “Dine-in, Takeaway, and Delivery”You can set different hours for each service type:
| Service | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Dine-in | When customers can order for dine-in |
| Takeaway | When customers can order for takeaway — uses dine-in hours when not set |
| Delivery | When customers can order for delivery — uses dine-in hours when not set |
Set only the hours you need. If you don’t set takeaway or delivery hours, they use your dine-in hours. Set them only if they differ from dine-in.
Regular Hours
Section titled “Regular Hours”Define your standard weekly schedule:
- Monday to Sunday
- Open and close times for each day
- Different hours per day (e.g. closed Mondays, later on weekends)
- Close a day easily — toggle or mark as closed
- Add breaks — e.g. closed 14:00–17:00 for a lunch break, then open again for dinner (no need to create separate schedules)
Store hours are set per store — if you have multiple locations, each can have different hours.
Custom Hours for Selected Days
Section titled “Custom Hours for Selected Days”Set different hours for specific days without changing your regular schedule:
- Select days above (e.g. Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day)
- Set custom hours for those days (or mark as closed)
- Apply to selected days — the custom hours override your regular schedule for those dates
Use this for holidays, special events, or one-off changes.
Special Schedules
Section titled “Special Schedules”You can add exceptions for:
- Holidays — Closed or different hours
- Special events — Extended hours
- Maintenance — Temporary closures
Why It Matters
Section titled “Why It Matters”- Prevents orders when you’re closed — customers cannot place orders outside your open hours; the ordering flow shows you as closed
- Sets correct expectations for customers
- Reduces confusion and support requests
- Keep hours in sync with your actual opening times — mismatches lead to frustrated customers and orders you can’t fulfill.
- Update hours before holidays using Custom Hours for Selected Days or special schedules so customers see “Closed” or adjusted hours.
