Allergens and Dietary Info

Add allergen and additive labels to products so customers know what’s in each item. You can set them per product or apply a set to all products in a category.

Where to find it: Store → Menu → Products (edit a product) or Store → Menu → Categories (edit a category)


  1. Go to Store → Menu → Products
  2. Click a product to edit
  3. Find Allergens & Additives (or similar) in the product form
  4. Select the allergens and additives that apply
  5. Save
  1. Go to Store → Menu → Categories
  2. Click a category (e.g. Burger Menu) to edit
  3. Find Allergens & Additives
  4. Select allergens and additives for that category
  5. Save — they apply to all products in that category

Use category-level when many products share the same labels (e.g. all burgers have gluten, wheat). Use product-level when items differ (e.g. one dessert has nuts, another doesn’t).


The allergen list includes common allergens such as:

  • Gluten-containing cereals — Wheat, barley, rye, oats, spelt
  • Egg — Eggs and egg products
  • Fish — Fish and fish products
  • Milk (including lactose) — Milk and lactose products
  • Tree nuts — Almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, etc.
  • Peanuts — Peanuts and peanut products
  • Soybeans — Soybeans and soybean products
  • Crustaceans — Shrimp, crab, etc.
  • Molluscs — Snails, clams, etc.
  • Celery, Mustard, Sesame, Lupins — And other regulated allergens
  • Sulfur dioxide and sulfites

Select all that apply to the product or category.


The additive list includes items such as:

  • With coloring agent — Contains coloring agents
  • With preservative — Contains preservatives
  • With flavor enhancer — Contains flavor enhancers
  • Contains caffeine — Contains caffeine
  • Contains sweeteners — Contains sweeteners
  • With antioxidant — Contains antioxidants
  • May affect activity and attention in children — Warning for certain additives
  • Defrosted — Previously frozen and then defrosted
  • And others as defined by regulation

Select all that apply.


Customers see the selected allergens and additives when viewing the product (e.g. on the ordering page or in the app). This helps them make informed choices about dietary needs and allergies.
