Viewing and Filtering Orders

The Orders page is where you see and manage every order that comes in.

Where to find it: Orders (in the main sidebar)

Each order shows:

  • Order number — Unique ID for reference
  • Customer — Name and contact
  • Status — Pending, confirmed, preparing, ready, completed, or cancelled
  • Total — Order amount
  • Date & time — When the order was placed
  • Type — Delivery or pickup (takeaway)

  1. Click an order to open the detail view
  2. Use the status dropdown or quick-action buttons (e.g. “Mark as Ready”, “Complete Order”)
  3. Some statuses may require extra info:
    • Ready — You may need to set a ready time
    • Cancelled — You may need to provide a reason

Typical flow: Pending → Confirmed → Preparing → Ready → Completed. See Order Status and Fulfillment for details on each status.

  • By status — Show only pending, confirmed, completed, etc.
  • By date range — Pick a start and end date
  • By type — Delivery vs pickup (takeaway)

Search by order ID, customer name, email, or phone to quickly find a specific order.

Orders update in real time — new orders can appear without refreshing. Use the refresh button to pull the latest data if needed. You can filter by multiple criteria at once (e.g. status + date range) and customize the table to show or hide columns like delivery/pickup, customer, or total.

  • Check Pending orders first — confirm them quickly so customers know their order is accepted.
  • Use date range filters when reconciling with your POS or preparing reports.
  • Keep the Orders tab open during busy hours — status badges help you spot what needs attention.
