Why It Matters
Section titled “Why It Matters”- Personalized service — Recognize returning guests
- Targeted marketing — Reach out to at-risk or VIP customers
- Support — Look up order history when a customer has a question
The profile panel opens as a slide-over sheet — you can keep the customer list visible and quickly switch between profiles. Order history in the profile shows the same data as Reports → Order list, but filtered to that customer. The segment shown is calculated from order frequency and recency — it updates as they order more or less.
When a customer calls with a question, open their profile first — you’ll see their last order and can resolve issues faster. Use Total spent and Order count to decide who gets VIP treatment or a thank-you offer. Export or note contact details for at-risk customers so you can reach out outside the dashboard (e.g. by email or phone).
