Managing Cash Payments

Enable or disable cash payments at your store. When Cash is active, customers can pay with cash at checkout. No processing fees apply.

Where to find it: Settings → Payments

Menuella lets you manage payment processing with multiple providers. In Settings → Payments you’ll see:

  • Stripe — Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • PayPal — PayPal balance and linked cards
  • Cash — Accept cash payments at your store

You can turn each provider on or off independently. Customers see only the payment options that are active.

  1. Log in to your Menuella dashboard
  2. Go to Settings → Payments
  3. Find Cash in the Payment Providers list
  4. Toggle Cash to On (active) or Off (inactive)
  5. Save if prompted

When Cash is active:

  • Customers can pay with cash at checkout
  • No processing fees
  • Payment processing is ready to use

When Cash is off:

  • Cash is hidden from customers at checkout
  • Use this when you’re not accepting cash (e.g. online-only orders)

You can have Cash and online providers (Stripe, PayPal) active at the same time — customers choose how they want to pay. Cash is useful for takeaway and delivery orders where customers pay on arrival. You can turn Cash off temporarily (e.g. if you’re out of change) and turn it back on when ready. Your Financial reports include cash payments in your sales totals.
