- They pay at checkout — online payment only (Stripe: Klarna, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, cards, etc.) or PayPal. Cash is not accepted for gift card purchases.
- They receive the gift card code by email or in the order confirmation
Use Cases
Section titled “Use Cases”- Holiday promotions — Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day
- Thank-you gifts — Reward loyal customers
- Cash flow — You receive payment when the card is sold, not when it’s redeemed
- Product itself — Some businesses sell gift cards as a core offering
Promote gift cards around holidays — use Marketing → Coupons or short links to drive sales. Offer a few clear amounts (e.g. €25, €50, €100) — too many options can confuse customers. Make sure the checkout flow clearly shows the gift card code after purchase.
