|---|---|
| Maximum days in advance | How many days ahead customers can schedule orders (e.g. 7 = up to one week) |
| Minutes in advance | How many minutes before the scheduled time customers must place the order |
| Minutes before closing | How many minutes before closing to stop accepting new orders |
How to Configure
Section titled “How to Configure”- Go to Store → Order settings
- Open the Advance Ordering section
- Set maximum days in advance — e.g. 7 days so customers can book up to a week ahead
- Set minutes in advance — e.g. 60 so orders must be placed at least 1 hour before the scheduled time
- Set minutes before closing — e.g. 30 so no new orders in the last 30 minutes before you close
Example
Section titled “Example”- Max 7 days — Customers can order for next Tuesday today
- 60 minutes in advance — For a 7pm pickup, order must be placed by 6pm
- 30 minutes before closing — If you close at 10pm, last orders at 9:30pm
Minutes before closing prevents last-minute rushes — give your kitchen time to finish. Minutes in advance ensures you have time to prepare scheduled orders. Max days — Set based on how far ahead you want to accept bookings (e.g. 1–14 days).
