Media Gallery
The Media gallery has two sources for images: Your Gallery (your own uploads) and Menuella Stock (curated images).
Where to find it: Media gallery (in the main sidebar), or when adding images to products, categories, or modifiers
Context-Dependent Gallery
Section titled “Context-Dependent Gallery”The media gallery adapts to where you’re using it. When you open it from different parts of the dashboard, it shows content relevant to that context:

The same gallery (Your Gallery + Menuella Stock) is used everywhere — you pick an image and it’s applied to the product, category, or modifier you’re editing. Upload once and reuse across your menu.
Your Gallery
Section titled “Your Gallery”Your Gallery is where you upload and store your own images:
- Product photos (dishes, drinks)
- Category images
- Logos and branding
- Promotional banners
Switch to Your Gallery to upload new images and manage the ones you’ve added.
Menuella Stock
Section titled “Menuella Stock”Menuella Stock is a curated library of images you can use right away — no upload needed. When editing a product or category, you can select directly from Stock:
- Product images (dishes, drinks, food)
- Category images
- Banners and promotional graphics
Switch to Menuella Stock in the gallery, search or browse, and click an image to select it. It’s ready to use immediately.
How to Add an Image
Section titled “How to Add an Image”To a product or category:
- Go to Store → Menu and open a product or category for editing
- Click the image area (or “Add image”)
- The media gallery opens — switch to Your Gallery or Menuella Stock
- Browse or search for an image
- Click the image to select it — it’s applied immediately
To a modifier option:
- Go to Store → Menu → Modifiers
- Select a modifier group and open a modifier option for editing
- Click the image area for that option
- The media gallery opens — pick from Your Gallery or Menuella Stock
- Select an image — it’s applied to the modifier option
Images make your menu more appealing and help customers choose. The gallery is context-dependent — you open it from products, categories, or modifiers, and the image is applied to the item you’re editing. You can search in both Your Gallery and Menuella Stock — type a term and press Enter. Images are stored centrally — upload once and reuse across products, categories, and modifier options.
Use Menuella Stock for quick setup — browse or search and select directly when adding products. Upload your own photos for a unique look — clear, well-lit food photos work best. Use consistent lighting and style (e.g. white background, same angle) — your menu looks more professional. Keep file sizes reasonable (e.g. under 1MB) — large images slow down the ordering page on mobile.
