How to Export Customer Data

Export your customer list for reporting, marketing, or backup.

Where to find it: Customers (in the main sidebar)


  1. Go to Customers
  2. Use Search or Filter to narrow the list if needed (e.g. VIP, At risk, or date range)
  3. Click Export (or the export/download button)
  4. Choose the format (e.g. CSV or Excel)
  5. The file downloads to your device

The export includes customer names, contact details, order count, total spent, and last order date — depending on what’s available in the dashboard.


  • Marketing — Import into your email tool for campaigns
  • Reporting — Analyze customer segments in a spreadsheet
  • Backup — Keep a copy of your customer data
  • Loyalty — Identify VIPs or at-risk customers for follow-up

Export filtered lists when you only need a segment (e.g. At risk customers for a re-engagement campaign). Use CSV for most tools — it opens in Excel, Google Sheets, and email platforms. Check the date range or filter before exporting if the dashboard supports it — you may get all customers or only those matching your current view.
