How to Create a Product
Products are the individual menu items customers order. You manage them in Store → Menu → Products. Each product must belong to a category.
Where to find it: Store → Menu → Products (tab at the top of the Menu page)
How to Add a Product
Section titled “How to Add a Product”- Go to Store → Menu
- Open the Products tab
- Click Add product or Add quick item
- Enter the product name, price, and select a category
- (Optional) Add an image — click the image area to open the Media Gallery (Your Gallery or Menuella Stock)
- Set Visible to On so customers can see it
- Save
How to Edit a Product
Section titled “How to Edit a Product”- Go to Store → Menu → Products
- Click the product you want to edit (or use Quick edit inline to change title, price, or availability)
- On the product edit page, update Basic info, Media, Pricing, or Availability
- Save your changes
Use “Back to products” to return to the list.
How to Add Product Images
Section titled “How to Add Product Images”- Open a product (create new or edit existing)
- Click the image area to open the Media Gallery
- Choose an image from Your Gallery or Menuella Stock
- Save
Product images help customers decide and make your menu look professional.
Products Tab
Section titled “Products Tab”In Store → Menu → Products you can:
- View products grouped by category
- Add products (via “Add quick item” or full create flow)
- Quick edit inline — change title, price, description, availability
- Full edit — click a product to open its edit page
- Delete a product (see below)
- Reorder by dragging within a category
- Filter (show all, visible only, or hidden only)
- Search by name or description
- Import and Export (CSV/JSON)
Product Fields
Section titled “Product Fields”| Field | Purpose |

Product Edit Page
Section titled “Product Edit Page”When you click a product, you get:
- Basic info — Title, description, category, number
- Media — Product image (opens media gallery — Your Gallery or Menuella Stock)
- Pricing — Price, amount, unit (e.g. 250 g)
- Availability — Toggle to show or hide from customers
Use “Back to products” to return to the list.
How to Delete a Product
Section titled “How to Delete a Product”- Go to Store → Menu → Products
- Find the product you want to remove
- Open the product (click it) or use the product menu (e.g. three dots)
- Click Delete or Remove
- Confirm the deletion
Note: Deleting a product removes it permanently. Products that are used as modifier options may need to be unassigned first. Consider using Hidden instead if you might bring the item back (e.g. seasonal or sold-out items).
Mark Item as Out of Stock
Section titled “Mark Item as Out of Stock”When an item is sold out, set Visible to Off (Hidden). Customers won’t see it until you turn it back on.
- Visible — Customers can see and order the item
- Hidden — Item is hidden from customers (e.g. sold out for the day)
Use Hidden instead of deleting — you can turn it back on tomorrow without re-entering data. Use the filter to show only visible or hidden items when you need to focus on what’s live.
- Add products after creating categories — each product needs a category.
- Add descriptions and images — they help customers decide and make your menu look professional.
