Managing Devices

Revoke devices, check status, and troubleshoot connection issues.

Where to find it: Store → Devices

The Devices page shows:

ColumnWhat it means
DeviceName and identifier (e.g. “Menuella Terminal” with ID)
TypeKITCHEN_DISPLAY (Terminal), iOS, or Android
StatusActive or Revoked
Last SeenWhen the device last connected
Paired AtWhen you paired the device
ActionsRevoke — remove access

  • Total Devices — All paired devices (Active + Revoked)
  • Active — Devices that can receive orders
  • Revoked — Devices you’ve removed access from

StatusWhat it means
ActiveDevice is paired and connected — it can receive and display orders
RevokedAccess removed — device can no longer connect to your store

Last Seen shows when the device last connected. If a device is Active but Last Seen is old, it may be offline (Wi‑Fi, app closed, or sleep). Open the app on the device to reconnect.

If you need to remove a device (e.g. staff left, device lost, or replacing it):

  1. Go to Store → Devices
  2. Find the device in the list
  3. Click Actions (or the menu/three dots) next to the device
  4. Click Revoke
  5. Confirm — the device status changes to Revoked and can no longer connect

To use the device again, pair it as a new device with a fresh 6-digit code.

  • Check Wi‑Fi — Device needs internet
  • Open the app — App must be open (or running in background) to connect
  • Check Last Seen — If it’s old, restart the app or device
  • Re-pair — Revoke the device, then pair it again with a new code
  • Revoke devices when staff leave or devices are replaced — keeps your list clean and secure.
  • Last Seen helps you spot devices that haven’t connected recently — check if they need a restart or new pairing.
  • Place devices where staff can see them — near the kitchen or pickup area for order flow.
